Elizabeth Corcoran Murray, Publisher, has written for ABILITY magazine, Hybrid Mom, Sports and Spokes, and Seattle’s Child, Peninsula Gateway, and The Wilderness House. Elizabeth studied at Ohio Wesleyan University and received a BS in philosophy from the University of Oregon, a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington, as well as Certificates in Literary Fiction and in Generating Memoir. Her short story memoir, The Urban Goatherd, is featured in the book, We Came to Say, edited by Theo Nestor, as well as in the literary magazine, The Wilderness House and was nominated for a Pushcart award. Wendy Hinman has written articles for a variety of publications, particularly ones sailors and travelers like to read. One of Wendy’s pieces, The (Almost) Final Frontier, won a 2011 Solas award for best travel writing. One of her essays is featured in the book We Came to Say. Her hit travel book, Tightwads on the Loose: A Seven Year Pacific Odyssey, highlights the 34,000-mile, seven-year adventure she took to 19 countries aboard a 31-foot boat with her husband.
