As part of the Corinthian Yacht Club Speaker series, Wendy Hinman, author of Tightwads on the Loose: A Seven Year Pacific Odyssey, will share stories and photos from her 34,000-mile voyage on waters less traveled. Find out how she remained innocent of plotting divorce or murder while sailing 34,000 miles aboard a tender 31-foot boat despite numerous “character-building” opportunities. Though she lived without what most would call necessities, what mattered most was teamwork and a sense of humor.
Her story has been featured in Cruising World, Sailing, and Sail, and featured on the Sailing Podcast. It has garnered great reviews and been selected as a best travel book and won the Journey Award.
